The event was the Wales verses Scotland Home Rugby 6 Nations match 🙂
The occasion was a reciprocal exchange of Scots & Welsh supporting each other in Wales (Bowlers) & Scotland (Belters) year on year. The established trips started in 1965.
I played a medley of tunes over a 30 minute period and covering many Welsh & Scottish tunes 🙂 A great response was generated by the singing & clapping to each tune 🙂 Thank You to both supporter groups 🙂
These included, the well received: “Flower of Scotland”, “Land of My Fathers”, “The Blue Bells of Scotland”, “Calon Lan”, “Myfanwy” & “Braveheart” tunes. Along with many other Marches & Dance tunes.
Other entertainment performing was The Gentlemen Songsters who sang a number of tunes before our performance 🙂
