A Great Night last night. Bagpiping for a proud Glaswegian lady’s Surprise Birthday Party & who has lived in Wales for many years.

I entered the pub as a complete surprise for Eleanor’s 70th Birthday Party at The Mansel Arms near Cross Hands Carmarthenshire 🙂

Starting tunes included: “The Green Hills of Tyrol,” “The Battle’s O’er” & other tunes that led to “Happy Birthday”.

Thereafter, I continued with other Scots tunes, some of which were requested & included:

“The Northern Lights of Old Aberdeen”,

“The Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond”,

“Scotland the Brave”, “Flower of Scotland”,

“The Mull of Kintyre” & “The Skye Boat Song”.

After a short break, it was a pleasure to play Welsh tunes accompanied by guests singing along 🙂
