80th-Birthday-Bagpipes-Cowbridge 10th July, 2026.
I approached the family home as a complete Surprise, playing “The Green Hills of Tyrol” & other tunes.
Thereafter, I played the requested tunes that included: “The Skye Boat Song”, “Scotland the Brave”, “Flower of Scotland”, “Cwm Rhondda” & of course “Happy Birthday” 🙂
I then continued with other tunes that included Scots and Welsh.
Many Happy Returns of the day to Ireen & daughter Sarah who also was celebrating her own Birthday as well today 🙂
Thank you to daughter Sarah for asking us along and to the family for making us so Welcome 🙂 It was an absolute pleasure meeting you all 🙂
