A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon today in Abergavenny Methodist Church for the Gwent Federation Women’s Institute.
I played as guests arrived with a multitude of tunes & tune sets. The format of an “Address to the Haggis” was carried out by Doug, having been led into the hall to the traditional tune “A Man’s A Man for A’ That“. Following the address I led the Haggis out to the upbeat “Scotland the Brave”
Thereafter, I played a short recital that included requested tunes from my website and selected in advance by guests. Thank You to my point of contact Julie for inviting us and for the presents 🙂
