Armed-Forces-Day-Bridgend 29th June, 2024.

An absolute honour today, Bagpiping in Bridgend Town Centre for Armed Forces Day.  I was asked to play a multitude of tunes that included many Marches & Military Associated tunes, for the 30 mins leading to the Drumhead Service at the War Memorial.
Thank You to the townsfolk for all their support & applauds during my performance. It was greatly appreciated 🙂
Dignitary & Veteran requested tunes included: “Pipe Major Willie Ross’s Farewell to the Scots Guards”, “The Massacre of Glencoe”, “Highland Cathedral” & “Flowers of the Forest”.

Thank You also to the Deputy Mayor, Councillor Ian Spiller for inviting me to this auspicious occasion. It was an absolute pleasure meeting the Mayor & Mayoress of Bridgend Town Council. A very well supported occasion 🙂
