Bagpipes-Cardiff&CountyClub-Burns-Night 22nd Jan, 2026.
I played many tunes on the upper level stairs as guests arrived. These were a multitude of tune idioms.
I also led the #Haggis party into the function room to the traditional Burns Entry tune.
After the Address & Toast carried out by Clive. I then led the Haggis party back out to the well received “Scotland the Brave”.
After the starters, I played a multiple tune set recital. Tunes included: “Flower of Scotland” with “Land of My Fathers”, “Hotpunch” & “Steamboat” & the requested “Highland Cathedral”.
A thoroughly enjoyable return visit to the venue. Thank You to Clive for inviting us back again 🙂
