Bagpipes-CowbridgeCouncil-LordMayorsParade 6th July, 2025.
A pleasure today, Bagpiping for Cowbridge Town Council in Cowbridge for the annual “Lord Major’s Civic Parade & Ceremony”.
As dignitaries & guests assembled, South Wales Police Band and Drums played a few tunes, I then took over and played 6/8 Marches – “Donald Maclean of Lewis” & “Major John Maclennan”.
We then alternated tune sets with me concluding with “The High Road to Gairloch”, “Teribus” & “Bonny Dundee”.
After the church service at Holy Cross Church, I led dignitaries back to the Council Building with “Colin’s Castle”, “Castle Dangerous”, “My Land”, along with guests singing to “Calon Lan” with “Land of My Fathers”.
Thank You to the Council for asking me along once again 🙂
