A re-visit to Thornhill Crematorium today. Bagpiping for a Scots born lady’s Funeral. Who had spent many years in #Wales
On the approach to the chapel, I led the cortege playing “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”, as well as, “Flower of Scotland”.
In addition, the requested tune of choice for the chapel entry was “Amazing Grace”
The departure from the service included, “The Mull of Kintyre”, “Calon Lan”, both to link the Scots & Welsh connections. Thereafter, I played a classical Piobaireachd Salute in the Memorial Garden.
