Bagpipes-Wedding-Cwrt-Bleddyn-Mark-Claire 21st Aug, 2021.

An Excellent Day yesterday, Bagpiping for Mark & Claire’s Wedding at Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel and Spa.

On arrival I played for assembling guests & under the Bride’s window during her preparation.

A pleasure leading the Bride & Bridesmaids into the ceremony to “Highland Cathedral”. During the register signing the couple asked for “The Skye Boat Song” & “Flower of Scotland” to reflect their’s & their family’s Scots roots.

The lead out started with “Mhairis Wedding”, followed by “The Barren Rocks of Aden”, “Scotland the Brave” & “The Rowan Tree”.

Following tunes during the drinks reception, I led the Happy Couple into the Wedding Breakfast to the well known & well received “Green Hills of Tyrol”. Once seated I explained & then toasted the couple using the Scots Quaichs which signified the joining of 2 ‘Clans’ in Love & Partnership 🙂

Thereafter, sessions were played post Wedding Breakfast and for the arrival of Evening Guests.

Very best wishes to a lovely couple & Thank you for letting us be part of your very Special Day 🙂

Thank you also to Nicola & staff at Cwrt Bleddyn for their hospitality 🙂
