I opened by playing on the promenade by Barry Island, in the form of a “Flashmob”. Continuing as American Style Jeeps & Museum Volunteers arrived.
Tunes played included: Upbeat Marches & the tune VE75. A newly composed tune from 2 years ago, to mark the 75 anniversary of VE Day.
In addition, as visitors arrived at the Museum, I played a medley of tunes. Thereafter, I repeated a visit to the promenade. On this occasion, I played Welsh tunes for visitors on the Island.
In Conclusion, Thank you to Sue, Glen & Steve for inviting us along & to Jordan & other volunteers for looking after us. Thanks also to the many visitors who received talks on WW2 Fashion, Radio Communications, Aircraft Modelling, WW2 Singing, Uniforms, Weapons & Equipment.
