An absolute pleasure today Bagpiping for Kay’s 80th Birthday Surprise, This was in GilfachGoch #RhonddaValleys & with family closeby 🙂
I came out of hiding & played down the street to the home address. This was with upbeat tunes, such as; “The Green Hills of Tyrol” (aka The Scottish Soldier) with “The Rowan Tree”, in addition to, “The High Road to Gairloch”. I played “Happy Birthday”, to an emotional Kay. (Sorry to make you cry) 🙂
A Medley of other tunes followed; including “Calon Lan”, “Myfanway”, “Land of my Fathers”, “Amazing Grace”, as well as, “Donald Maclean of Lewis”.
