Bridgend-Remembrance-Poppy-Concert 1st Nov, 2025
An honour on Saturday night, Bagpiping at Hope Baptist Church, Bridgend “Remembrance Day Poppy Concert“. With Bridgend Male Choir.
I greeted guests with many tunes as they arrived. The tunes played, reflected the occasion.
After the Bugler’s (Jason Todd ) Last Post & Reveille, 1 minute silence & “Kohima Epitaph“. I played the requested “Amazing Grace”.
At the end of the concert, I continued to play as guests started to leave. The tunes of choice here, were in memory of the Queen and played by Solo Bagpipers at her funeral.
Namely: “Sleep, Dearie Sleep”, “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith”, concluding with the Military associated: “Flowers of the Forest”.
Thank You to Tim Wood for inviting me and pictured with the Standard Bearer of
Bridgend Branch of the Royal British Legion, Bridgend Mayor, Dignitaries & Veterans.
