Briwnant-Thornhill-Bagpipes-Funeral 25th May, 2023.
At Thornhill Crematorium today, Bagpiping for the Funeral of a National Service Veteran. Sadly the second former Royal Engineer (RE) this week.
On arrival, I led to the chapel playing “Flowers of the Forest”, “The Dark Isle” along with “Highland Cathedral”.
Following the service, I met mourners in the Memorial Garden playing: “Amazing Grace”, “Wings” – (The Regimental March of the Royal Engineers), “Sleep, Dearie Sleep” & a Classical Salute.
