As the 90 guests arrived, I played a number of tunes before guests took their seats. These tunes included: “The Heights of Dargai” set, “Wings” Set, “Flett from Flotta” set and “Colin’s Castle” Set.

I then played “A Man’s a Man for A’ That” as the Haggis party moved around the room. After the Address and Toast, I played out to “Scotland the Brave” with “The Rowan Tree”.

During the soup starter and Haggis, Neeps & Tatties course, I played a recital of tunes that included: “The High Road to Gairloch” Set, “Pipe Sgt John Barclay”, “The Skye Boat Song”, “The Mull of Kintyre” along with some well received Welsh tunes: “Myfanwy”, “Calon Lan”, “Land of My Fathers” along with the requested “Flower of Scotland”.& “Last of the Mohicans”
