Celebration-of-Life-Abertridw 28th Feb, 2025.
An enjoyable evening last night, Bagpiping in Abertridwr near Caerphilly for the ‘Celebration of Life‘ of a local lady, who spent a few years in Glasgow before returning to South Wales.
As a surprise for the many guests, I led in with upbeat tunes, before continuing with a number of Scots & Welsh tunes.
After this, I played a ‘Salute’ in memorial from the Classical Style of Bagpipe playing Piobaireachd, concluding with a number of upbeat and familiar tunes, such as “The Green Hills of Tyrol”.
Thank You to Grand daughter Jodie, for inviting us along and for the really great welcome and kind comments we received. All the Very best to you all
