CelebrationofLife-Bagpipes-DinasPowys 6th May, 2025.
Funeral Bagpiping today at Bethesda Chapel Dinas Powys. This was for the ‘Celebration of Life’ of a Kirkaldy born Gentleman, who had lived in Wales many years.
After initial service at Memoria Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Memorial Park & Crematorium. The service continued at the Church. Where on departure & as a surprise, I played the requested “Flower of Scotland”, “Calon Lan” & to acknowledge his National Service, “Flowers of the Forest”.
Thereafter, I moved to the Dinas Powys Golf Club. Where I met mourners with a medley of tunes as they assembled for refreshments.
Our condolences to the family & mourners. Working alongside the very professional Ben & his team of Green Willow Funerals.
