A Pleasure today, Bagpiping at St Mary’s Church Dinas Powys for for Professor Jon Cowpe’s “Civil Service Ceremony”. Also meeting many past & present Councillors from the area.
I played many tunes as guests arrived at the church. Tune requests included: Welsh, Scottish, upbeat Marches, Jurassic Park & Last of the Mohicans.
Thereafter, I met all guests at Lee Parish Hall with a further medley of tunes.
After the Quaich Toast, I continued with familiar tunes, such as “Flower of Scotland”, “Land of My Fathers”, “Scotland the Brave”, “The Rowan Tree”, “Calon Lan”, “Myfanwy”.
Congratulations to Jon and Thank You to all guests for the very warm welcome and kind comments 🙂
