Crematorium-Barry-Funeral-Bagpipes 21st Aug, 2024.
Funeral Bagpiping at Memoria Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Crematorium (Barry Crematorium) once again today.
Playing for the Funeral of a Scots born Gentleman from the East Kilbride / Glasgow area. Although living in Wales for many years, the Gent’s origins were the Clyde Ship Building & Boiler making career field.
On the approach, I played “Oft in the Stilly Night” with the requested: “Flower of Scotland”.
The Chapel Entry, was again the requested: “Amazing Grace”.
I then led the departure from the chapel into the memorial garden to : “Going Home”, “The Skye Boat Song” & “The Mull of Kintyre”.
Our Condolences to the family and friends.
Working once again with the very professional Rebecca & her team of A G Adams Funeral Directors Barry Co-op Funeralcare.
