Falklands-Memorial Bagpipes Swansea, 25th May, 2019.   A return visit today to the Civic Centre Swansea, United Kingdom.  Bagpiping for the Annual Flag Raising Ceremony in memory of the 255 British Servicemen & 3 Civilians who were killed and the 775 injured during the 10 week Falkland Islands Conflict.  The conflict took place from 2 April – 14 June 1982.
I led the minister to the ceremony to ‘The Green Hills of Tyrol’.   After the service & during the Flag Raising I played ‘Flowers of the Forest’.  In conclusion, then leading away to ‘The Dark Isle’.  In Memorial.
