Funeral-Bagpipes Barry-Crematorium 1st Sept, 2020.  Today it was an Honour Bagpiping for the Funeral of a former Bagpiper. The Gentleman had previously played at the top level with a Premier Grade 1 Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band. The Band is from North Lanarkshire.

I played “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains” on arrival at Cardiff and Glamorgan Memorial Park and Crematorium (Barry Crematorium).  In addition, I then followed this with the requested “Highland Cathedral”, “Flower of Scotland”, “Flowers of the Forest”, as well as a classical Bagpiping tune (Piobaireachd) “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.

In conclusion, our condolences to the family.  Working with the very professional James Summers & Son Penarth.
