Funeral-Bagpipes-Barry-ValeofGlamorgan 24th Feb, 2023.
Funeral-Bagpipes at All Saints Church & later at Merthyr Dyfan Cemetary in Barry Vale of Glamorgan today. This was for the Funeral of a local lady with Grandfather links to Scotland.
I met the cortege on their arrival at the church with “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”. Then for the departure from the church, “Land of My Fathers”.
On arrival at the Cemetery, I approached the graveside with “Guide Me O Thou Great Redeemer” (aka Cwm Rhondda).
After the interment, I concluded the service with “Myfanwy”, “The Shores of Loch Katrine” & “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.
