Funeral Bagpipes Bettws-Newport, 1st Oct, 2019.   Bagpiping at St.David’s Church Bettws, Newport today.  This was for the Funeral of a local gentleman.  I led the Horse & Carriage funeral cortege to the church.  Then into the church to the “Welsh Nation Anthem” and out to “Danny Boy”.

In addition, the committal took place at Gwent Crematorium.  Where I played “Amazing Grace” for the approach of the funeral cars to the chapel entrance.  In conclusion, further tunes after, included “Calon Lan” with a newly learnt tune called “Sleep Dearie, Sleep”.
