Bagpiping at St Teilo’s Church Bishopston near Swansea today, for the Funeral of a Young Gentleman with family living locally.
As the cortege arrived I played “Oft in the Stilly Night”, “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”
For the Church Entry the family choice was “Amazing Grace”.
After the service, I led out to “Going Home”
Thereafter, I met the cortege at Oystermouth Cemetery, where I led the cortege to the Natural Burial Ground with “Flowers of the Forest” & “Sleep, Dearie Sleep”
After the interment, I played the requested “The Dark Isle”, “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith”, concluding with a Piobaireachd ‘Salute’.
