Funeral-Bagpipes-Llanelli-Crematorium 3rd Oct, 2025.
A re-visit to Llanelli Crematorium today. Bagpiping for the Funeral of a local Gentleman, who had a love of Bagpipes.
On the approach from the top gate to the chapel, I led the cortege with “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith” with the requested: “Amazing Grace”, interspersed with “Myfanwy”.
Following the service, I met mourners in the Memorial Garden playing: “Sleep, Dearie Sleep”, “Highland Cathedral”, “Calon Lan” & “The Wee Spree” (Ground Only – Piobaireachd).
Shortly before departure, family members asked me to play one more tune, which was “Queen Elizabeth II Salute” (Ground Only – Piobaireach).
Our Condolences to the family & many friends.
