Funeral-Bagpipes-Margam-Crematorium 22nd Sept, 2025.
Funeral Bagpiping today at Margam Crematorium. This was for the service of a Fife born lady & former Wren.
On approach I led the cortege to the chapel entrance to “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith” with the requested “Amazing Grace”.
The Chapel Entry was to: “Myfanwy” to reflect the lady’s 6 decades living in #Wales.
The Chapel Exit was to “Flower of Scotland”, to lead mourners to the Flower Garden. Followed by “The Skye Boat Song” & “Caledonia”, These tunes were also played as part of the mid service visual tribute.
This was accompanied by a Scots Themed medley of tunes, that included:
“The Mull of Kintyre”, “The Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond”, “The Blue Bells of Scotland”, “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”, “Scotland the Brave” & “The Rowan Tree”.
Our Sincere Condolences to the family & many friends in attendance.
Working alongside the very professional Staff from The Cimla Funeral Home Inc R.H.Place, Resolven & William David, Skewen
