A Great Honour today, Bagpiping for the Funeral of a Scots Born Gentleman & Former Bagpiper.
The burial took place at the Memorial Woodlands, Earthcott Green near Thornbury, South Gloucestershire.
On arrival I led the cortege with walking mourners to the graveside with the requested: “My Home”, “The Mist Covered Mountains” & “The Mull of Kintyre”.
Following the Graveside Service with Bugler & then the Interment, I played: “Oft in the Stilly Night” with “Sleep, Dearie Sleep” & “Queen Elizabeth II Salute” ( #Urlar – Piobaireachd ).
After flowers were laid into the grave, I played “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith”, “Flowers of the Forest” & “The Wee Spree” ( Urlar – #Piobaireachd )
Our Sincere Condolences to the family & many mourners.
