Bagpiping for a Rumney Cardiff family today. This was for the Funeral of a family loved one. The Gentleman’s Cortege arrived at the family home. In addition, I played “Oft in the Stilly Night”, “Amazing Grace” & “The Skye Boat Song”.
Thereafter, I moved to Thornhill Crematorium to await the arrival of the many family & friends. As well as many life long colleagues from Cardiff Council.
Tunes played included; “Calon Lan”, “Going Home”, “Myfanwy” & “The Mull of Kintyre”.
After that, a round of applause took over after my playing. This was for the entrance into Wenallt Chapel for the service. In conclusion, Our Sincere Condolences to family & friends who I met last year for another sad family occasion.
