Funeral-Bagpipes-Sirhowy-Abercarn 13th May, 2024.
Funeral Bagpiping today for a local lady with Scots links, firstly at Sirhowy Valley Crematorium for the main service and later at Abercarn Cemetery.
On the approach to the Crematorium I played the requested: “My Home” with “Flower of Scotland”.
After the service, I met mourners in the Memorial Garden with “The Mist Covered Mountains” & “Myfanwy”.
I then made my way to the Cemetery where on arrival, I played “Going Home” with “The Blue Bells of Scotland”.
Following the interment, I concluded with “Amazing Grace”, “The Mull of Kintyre”, “Scotland the Brave” & “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.
