Funeral-Bagpipes-Splott-Cardiff 27th Nov, 2025.

Funeral Bagpiping today, for a Splott born lady. I was asked to lead from the family home in Old St. Mellons to “Amazing Grace”.

On arrival of the cortege at St. Saviours Church in Splott, I played: “Amazing Grace”. “Danny Boy” & “The Rose”.

For the Church Entry, the requested tune was; “Myfanwy” & the Exit: “Calon Lan”.

I then met the cortege at Thornhill Crematorium, where I led to the chapel to: “I’ll Take You Home Again Kathleen” with “Going Home”.

Following the service & outside I played: “Sleep, Dearie Sleep” with “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith”.

Our Condolences to the family & many friends. Working with the very professional Angela & her team from Coles Funeral Directors.
