Funeral Bagpiping at St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Church in Llanishen Cardiff today. This was for the service of a local Welsh born lady with Irish heritage links.
On arrival of the cortege I played “The Isle of Innisfree”, “Calon Lan” & “Danny Boy”. Linking the family history together.
As the procession approached the church door, the requested tune was “Amazing Grace”.
At the end of the service and for the departure, I played: “When Irish Eyes are Smiling”, “Myfanwy”, “Danny Boy”, “Cwm Rhondda” & the Piobaireachd Salute “Queen Elizabeth II”.
