Funeral-Bagpipes-StMatthews-Stroud 29th Dec, 2022.
Bagpiping yesterday at St Matthew’s at Cainscross near Stroud Gloucs. This was for the Funeral of a proud Scottish lady.
On the arrival of the cortege, I played the requested “The Skye Boat Song”. For the church entry “Danny Boy”.
Following the church service, I led the cortege & mourners to the graveside with “Amazing Grace” & “Sleep Dearie Sleep”.
After the interment, I played “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith”, “Going Home” & “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.
Our Sincere Condolences to the family & many friends.
