Funeral-Bagpipes-StowChurch-GwentCrematorium 26th Sept, 2025.
Funeral Bagpiping today at Stow Park Church in Newport. The service was for a Scots born lady who was also a Highland Dancer & Country Dancer.
On approach of the cortege & family cars, I played “Flowers of the Forest” with “The Dark Isle”. After the church service, I led from the church to “Sleep, Dearie Sleep”.
I then met the cortege at Gwent Crematorium, where on arrival I led the cortege to the chapel entrance to the requested: “She Moved Through the Fair” (Braveheart).
Thereafter in the Memorial Garden, I played “Flower of Scotland” & “The Massacre of Glencoe”.
Our Condolences to the family & many friends.
Working once again with the very professional Joanne & her team of T J Davies & Sons Funeral Directors.
