Funeral Bagpiping yesterday afternoon at Thornhill Crematorium. This was for the Funeral of an English born Gentleman with Welsh parentage. He was heavily involved with the link between Wales & Dunbar (Scotland) Rugby.
On arrival I led to the chapel playing the requested: “The Skye Boat Song” with “Cwm Rhondda”.
The chapel entry was to “Amazing Grace”
To lead mourners from the chapel, I again played the requested: “Calon Lan”, “Sleep, Dearie Sleep”, along with “Myfanwy”, “Highland Cathedral” & a Piobaireachd Salute.
