Bagpiping at Thornhill Crematorium today. This was for the Funeral of an Edinburgh born Gentleman. In addition, he had lived many years in Wales.
I led the cortege to the chapel entrance, playing “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”. This reflected the Gentleman’s previous Military Service.
Thereafter, on departure from the service I played “Cwm Rhondda – Guild me O thou Great Redeemer”. This was a continuation of the final hymn. As well as, “Myfanwy” and a classical Piobaireachd Salute in the Memorial Garden.
In conclusion, our Sincere Condolences to the family & friends.
