Funeral Bagpipes Thornhill-Crematorium, 5th June, 2019.   A visit to Thornhill Crematorium today Bagpiping for the Funeral of a local gentleman.  I stepped in front of the cortege as it arrived & led to Briwnant Chapel playing the requested ‘Scotland the Brave’ with ‘The Rowan Tree’.

‘Flower of Scotland’ was the entry tune.  At the service end I led family & friends to view the flowers in the memorial garden to ‘Going Home’.  In conclusion, I played “Queen Elizabeth II Salute” as I drifted away.  Our condolences to the family & friends.
