Funeral-Bagpiping-Aberdare-Church 7th Feb, 2022.
Bagpiping at Greenstreet Methodist Church in Aberdare today. This was for the Funeral of a local Gentleman who originated from Dumfries.
The cortege approached to the sound of the family selected tunes; “My Home”, “The Mist Covered Mountains” & “Oft in the Stilly Night”.
As the procession departed the church with the organist playing “Amazing Grace”, I then picked up with the same outside, by the Funeral Cars.
Thereafter, for the departure, I played “The Shores of Loch Katrine”, along with, “Sleep, Dearie Sleep”.
