I led the cortege on arrival to the chapel entrance with a 41 motorbike escort.  In addition, the tunes reflected a proud Welshman with a family Scottish link.  These were, “The Skye Boat Song”, in addition to, “Cwm Rhondda” (Guide Me O Thy Great Redeemer).

After this, I played “Calon Lan” as the Gent was repositioned back onto the hearse.

Thereafter, I met the cortege at Penarth Cemetery.  Leading to the grave with “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”.

For the move from the hearse to the grave, I played “Myfanwy”.  In conclusion, for the interment the family requested “Land of My Fathers”.

I then finished, with “Queen Elizabeth II Salute” as mourners paid their own last respects.
