Funeral-Bagpiping-Cardiff-Western-Cemetery 24th Feb, 2022.
A visit to Riverside Cardiff today. Bagpiping at the Home Address of a local lady with Irish heritage.
I played as the cortege arrived with the tunes “Land of My Fathers”, along with, “When Irish Eyes are Smiling”. Also leading away from the home with “Danny Boy”.
Thereafter, I played “Sailing”, “The Dark Isle”, in addition to, “Amazing Grace”. This was while the cortege approached St. Mary of the Angels RC Church, Canton in #Pontcanna.
I then met the cortege at Western Cemetery. Leading the cortege to the grave with “The Mull of Kintyre” & Braveheart tunes: “She Moved through the Fair”, in addition to, “For the Love of a Princess”.
