Bagpiping intially in Crosskeys today. This was for the departure from the home address of a local lady on her final journey.
Tunes played as the Funeral Director’s cars arrived included: “Flowers of the Forest” & “Oft in the Stilly Night”. In addition to, “Amazing Grace” for the departure.
Moreover, I then proceeded to Sirhowy Valley Crematorium. On arrival, I led to the chapel with “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”. After that, for the chapel entry, I played “Highland Cathedral. In addition, after the service, I started with “The Skye Boat Song”. Thereafter, then “The Shores of Loch Katrine” and “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.
