Funeral Bagpiping Ely-Cardiff, 25th June, 2020. Funeral Bagpiping today at Western Cemetery, #Ely, Cardiff for the Graveside Funeral Service of a local lady with Irish roots.
On the approach & to the graveside, I played the requested “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” with “The Dark Isle”.
As family alighted from the cars “Amazing Grace”.
For the interment, a poignant moment for the family, I played “Danny Boy” & following the service “Going Home” with “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.
