Funeral Bagpiping for a local Newport Gentleman today. The church service was at St. Thomas’s in Maesglas. As the cortege arrived, I played “Wild Mountain Theme”, “The Massacre of Glencoe”, along with, “Sleep Dearie, Sleep”.
In addition, I played “Amazing Grace” for the end of service & departure.
Arrival tunes at Gwent Crematorium were “My Home”, as well as, “Oft in the Stilly Night”. The chapel entry & committal was “Flower of Scotland”. As well as, “The Skye Boat Song”, in addition to, “Mull of Kintyre” for the departure.
