Bagpiping at Sirhowy Valley Crematorium near Blackwood today. This was for the Funeral of a Welsh born Gentleman, who was proud of his heritage links to Scotland.
On the approach to the chapel, I played “Oft in the Stilly Night”, “The Skye Boat Song” & “For the Love of a Princess – (Braveheart)”.
For the chapel entry, the requested tune was “Flower of Scotland”.
Following the service, I then played “Amazing Grace”, “She Moved Through the Fair – (Braveheart)” & “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.
