A revisit to Thornhill Crematorium and Cemetery (Wenallt Chapel) today, Bagpiping for the Funeral Service of a Glasgow born Gentleman who was also a #Bagpiper.
On the approach, I led the cortege to the chapel entrance with the requested: “The Mull of Kintyre“, “The Skye Boat Song” & “The Rowan Tree”.
The Chapel Entry was to “Flower of Scotland”.
I then met mourners in the Memorial Garden with: “Calon Lan”, “Myfanwy”, “Land of My Fathers” & “Sou Gan”, to reflect the fact, the deceased had lived in Wales for 44 years..
