Funeral-Glyntaff-Crematorium-Bagpipes 17th Oct, 2025.
Funeral Bagpiping today at Glyntaff Crematorium. The service was for a Welsh Gentleman, who had a love of Scotland & Bagpipes. He was also an Army Veteran with the Royal Corps of Transport.
On approach, I led to the chapel with: “Sleep, Dearie Sleep” & “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith”. (Both tunes were played by Solo Bagpipers at the Queen’s Funeral).
The Chapel Entry was to the requested: “Amazing Grace” and the departure to: “Calon Lan”.
Additional tunes played in the Memorial Garden to reflect the Gent’s heritage were: “Going Home” with “Oft in the Stilly Night.
Our Condolences to the family & many friends.
Working once again with the very professional Andrew & his Team of Castle Court Funeral Home
