Funeral-Gwent-Crem-Lliswerry-Church 23rd May, 2023.

Bagpiping today at Gwent Crematorium for the Funeral of a Scots born Gentleman and former Military member of the Cameronians. On the approach of the Funeral procession, I led to the chapel with “Oft in the Stilly Night” & “Flower of Scotland”.

For the chapel entry, I played the newly learnt Regimental March of the Cameronians “The Garb of Old Gaul”.

During the Committal, I played the Piobaireachd (Urlar) “Queen Elizabeth II Salute”.

Thereafter, for the departure, I led out to “Amazing Grace” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”, before making my way to Lliswerry Baptist Church to await the arrival of the cortege playing “The Skye Boat Song”, “The Mull of Kintyre”, “The Bells of Scotland” & “Highland Cathedral”. Then to lead in with “Cwm Rhondda”.

Our Condolences to the family & friends.
