GlynTaff-Crematorium–Funeral-Bagpipes 7th May, 2026.
Funeral Bagpiping today at Glyntaff Crematorium for the service of a Gentleman who originated from Glasgow, but lived in Wales for many years.
On the approach, I led the cortege to the Chapel to “Land of My Fathers” & “Flower of Scotland”.
For the Chapel Entry I played the requested: “Amazing Grace”.
After the Service & as mourners exited the chapel, I played: “Myfanwy”, “The Skye Boat Song” to reflect the Scots & Welsh links, then concluded with: “Sleep, Dearie Sleep” & “Salute to Willie, The Royal Fendersmith”.
Our Condolences to the family & friends. Working with the very professional Geraint & his team of Morgan T. Vowles Funeral Directors & Monumental Masons of Pontypridd.
