Grangetown-Cardiff Funeral-Bagpipes 30th July, 2021.
Bagpiping in Grangetown Cardiff today, for the Funeral of a local Gentleman with Irish connections.
I Bagpiped at The Cornwall Pub as the cortege arrived & to the requested Welsh tunes. After that, I led to the end of the street with “Danny Boy”.
As the procession arrived at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, I played “The Mist Covered Mountains”, “My Home”, in addition, to “Amazing Grace” for the entry.
For the church departure, the tune of choice was “Going Home” with a “Piobaireachd” Salute.
