A revisit to Llandingat Church in Llandovery today. Bagpiping for the Funeral Service of a Fife born lady’s Funeral Service.
I was asked to lead the family & cortege from the family home to the church with the requested “The Blue Bells of Scotland”, which was accompanied by “My Home” & “The Mist Covered Mountains”.
The requested church entry was to the family favourite “Amazing Grace”.
Following the service, I then led the cortege and many many mourners to the graveside with “Flowers of the Forest” & “Flower of Scotland”.
After the Interment, I repeated “Flower of Scotland” & added “Going Home”. Concluding with a Piobaireachd (Ground/Urlar) of “The Wee Spree”.
Our Condolences to the family & numerous family & friends.
Working once again with the very professional Sue & her team of IC & SM Funeral Director of Llandovery.
