Llwydcoed Funeral Bagiping

Llwydcoed Funeral Bagpipes, 5th November, 2018.

Llwydcoed Funeral Bagpipes, 5th November, 2018.  At Llwydcoed Crematorium Bagpiping for the Funeral of a Redditch born gentleman.  He had a love of music & specifically Scottish Music & Bagpipes. On approach I played “Amazing Grace”, followed by “The Skye Boat Song” leading into chapel.

Shortly after the committal I played two newly learnt requested tunes: “Go Lassie Go” (Wild Mountain Thyme) & “The Massacre of Glencoe” which accompanied “The Bonny Banks of Loch Lomond” & “Auld Lang Syne”.

To lead out of the chapel I played a medley of tunes including: “Scotland the Brave”, “The Rowan Tree”, “The Green Hills of Tyrol” (aka The Scottish Soldier), “The Battle’s O’er”, “Castle Dangerous” and “My Land”. Louise and I would like to offer our sincere condolences to the family.
