Memorial Bagpipes Swansea. Swansea, Sea Cadets, TS Ajax. 12th July, 2018.  I attended the Swansea Sea Cadets HQ Training Ship (TS) Ajax for the Memorial Service for Commander Kerry Marmont MBE RN. Cdr Marmont.  He was a former Swansea Sea Cadet in the 1970’s, who went on to join the Royal Navy as a Submariner, attaining the rank of Commander after 37 years service. I was asked to perform “Amazing Grace” mid service and “Sailing'” (of Rod Stewart fame) as family were departing. Our thoughts go out to all the family in attendance & those who were unable to attend.
